Our journey of the All Souls Trilogy locations in Oxford resumes after the hiatus due to the AllSoulsCon celebration. This time we explore some of the locations where Diana jogs or strolls with Matthew, as well as some landmarks briefly mentioned in A Discovery of Witches that are part of the Oxford charm and we think are worth a visit.
Our journey of Oxford and the All Souls Trilogy locations continues south, to find open peaceful spaces away from the colleges and the tourists, where Diana enjoys her rowing routine—sometimes with her eyes closed.
We continue our journey in Oxford with two shopping-related locations at a stone throw from the Bodleian Library: Blackwell’s, one of the largest bookstores in the UK, and the colorful Covered Market. Both are featured in the early chapters of A Discovery of Witches, and both are significant locations for very different reasons.
Our tour of Oxford continues with three additional locations featured in A Discovery of Witches. As a reminder, our posts are meant to complement the travel guide written by Deborah Harkness, which is included in the Waterstones paperback edition of The Book of Life. At the end of this series, we’ll compile the guide into one easy-to-download PDF file.
